
Kevin earned her B.A. in Art from Indiana University Southeast in 1982 and later completed her M.A.T. at the University of Louisville in 2001. She continued her artistic studies with numerous accomplished artists, expanding both her technique and creative vision. Kevin lives in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, where she works in a beautiful studio thoughtfully designed by her husband, Rick. After 18 years in education, she retired in May 2019 from teaching drawing and photography at New Albany High School.
Kevin continues to create in a wide range of media, including photography, encaustics, painting, fibers, drawing, printmaking, and sculpture. Her work is currently exhibited at Art On Main in Madison, Indiana, and Art Seed Gallery in New Albany, Indiana. She also offers private lessons and leads workshops in her home studio. Her photography was featured in the 2019 Manifest Gallery International Photography Annual (INPHA 7) and in Artemis Journal. In 2020, she was honored as a Hoosier Women Artists Honoree.
